  28. Is this an internal or external MODEM?  On some not-so-old machines I've
  29. found 8250 and 16450 uarts.  Not condusive to high speeds with external
  30. MODEMs.  If it's an internal then you may have to play with the speed;
  31. working your way down to one that will work or setting the MODEM before
  32. setting kermit.
  33.    Look at the SPORT.SCR file to see an example of this.
